Miyachi Unitek Laser Welding – Complete Line of Nd-YAG lasers
Miyachi Unitek manufactures a full range of pulsed Nd:YAG industrial laser welding equipment with average power from 2W – 600W, and peak powers up to 10 kW. We are also the only laser welding equipment company to offer a ‘green’ laser for welding highly reflective materials such as copper.
Many materials can be laser welded including 300 and some 400 series stainless steel, mild steels, nickel and nickel alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, copper and many others. Typical applications include implantable medical devices, medical components and devices, automotive electronics, sensors, and controls, computer and disk drive components, batteries, and more.
 
Marking
 Miyachi Unitek Laser Markers     
 Miyachi Unitek offers both Yb: fiber and Nd:YVO4 (Vanadate) laser markers. This enables the best laser marking source to be selected for the specific application.  Fiber laser markers offer excellent all around marking performance with the benefits of low cost of ownership.  With the largest q switch range in the industry our fiber marker is able to provide the highest contrasting marks on plastics, and the fastest and deepest annealed and engraved marks in metals.  Nd:YVO4 laser markers offer the best laser marking solution on the market for high quality marks and minimal character height. With exceptional beam quality and a very fine focused spot enable high resolution and high clarity. Vanadate laser markers are offered in fundamental IR at 1064nm and green at 532nm. The frequency doubled green marker provides enhanced laser marking in gold, silver, copper, and silicon plus extremely high resolution due to the small spot size possible at the 532nm wavelength.
